Every cabin has its quirks: a door that sticks, a railing that wobbles, or a screen that always seems to tear. Add in the larger jobs like a new roof, fresh paint, or tree trimming. Weekends quickly turn into workdays. That’s where we come in. Timber and Shores offers reliable handyman services for the quick fixes and manages trusted local contractors for the bigger jobs. You enjoy your time up north, while we make sure the work gets done.

Project Oversight & Contractor Coordination

Some jobs are too big—or too specialized—for handyman work. Roof replacements, septic repairs, tree removal, shoreline erosion control… they require licensed contractors. But the biggest pain point for cabin owners isn’t the cost—it’s the hassle of finding someone, scheduling, and making sure the work actually gets done right.

We act as your project manager, taking the stress out of larger repairs and improvements:

  • Finding Trusted Professionals – We tap into our local network to connect you with reliable roofers, painters, HVAC techs, tree services, or shoreline specialists.

  • Scheduling & Oversight – We coordinate schedules, give access to your property, and monitor progress so you don’t have to drive up and babysit the work.

  • Quality Check – We review the job on-site, take photos, and report back so you can see what’s done—before signing off.

  • Communication Hub – We keep you updated, and contractors deal with us, not your voicemail inbox.

How We Charge:

  • 10–15% Project Management Fee Jobs over $1000

    • Example: If a roofer charges $8,000, your oversight fee is $800–1,200.

  • OR Flat Fee Packages for smaller projects (tree trimming, exterior painting, etc.).
